Documentation assistance only

StormProof provides documentation assistance only. It helps users organize photos and inspection information, review AI-assisted suggestions, add annotations, and generate editable reports. StormProof does not perform the inspection and does not replace the judgment of a qualified contractor or other professional.

User and contractor responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy, quality, legality, and authority of all information you submit. You must conduct an appropriate physical inspection, verify storm history and visible conditions, correct inaccurate or incomplete content, and complete a final review of every report before it is approved, delivered, or relied upon. The contractor or professional using the report remains solely responsible for the final observations, scope, annotations, conclusions, and representations.

No engineering or insurance determination

A StormProof report is not an engineering report, structural analysis, code-compliance determination, repair-scope guarantee, or insurance coverage determination. It does not guarantee claim approval, coverage, payment, or acceptance by any third party. Final insurance coverage and claim decisions remain with the insurance carrier and are governed by the applicable policy terms, exclusions, evidence, and law.

AI-assisted content

AI-assisted findings may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for a particular inspection. They are suggestions for professional review, not verified facts. You must independently evaluate AI-assisted content and may not represent it as having been independently verified by StormProof.

Subscription terms

Some features may require a paid subscription, trial, enterprise plan, or other entitlement. Available features, limits, price, billing period, and renewal terms are disclosed at purchase. If a subscription is sold through Google Play or another app store, billing, cancellation, and refunds are also governed by that store’s terms. Subscriptions renew automatically only when disclosed at purchase and may be managed through the applicable store or account settings. Fees are nonrefundable except as required by law or the applicable store’s rules.

Acceptable use

You may not:

• upload content or personal information you are not authorized to use;
• use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful activity;
• misrepresent AI-assisted content as a guaranteed professional conclusion;
• probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass the security of the Services;
• share account credentials or access the Services through unauthorized means; or
• reverse engineer protected portions of the Services except where law permits.

Your content

You retain your rights in the photos, records, and other content you submit. You grant StormProof the limited rights needed to host, process, reproduce, and format that content to operate and support the Services at your direction. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit and process the content.

Service availability and account termination

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may suspend or terminate an account for nonpayment, security risk, unlawful activity, misuse, or violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including responsibility, disclaimers, and liability limits, will survive.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, claim outcome, report acceptance, or noninfringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StormProof and its providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits or data, carrier decisions, denied claims, user edits, inaccurate submissions, or third-party determinations arising from the Services. StormProof’s total liability for claims relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to StormProof for the Services during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the Services evolve. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Questions may be sent to support@stormproofapp.com.
